My Story
Ever since I was in sixth grade, I knew exactly who I wanted to be and what I wanted to do. My journey to get there has been unpredictable yet so rewarding, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Sports impacted my life heavily growing up. I was a three sport athlete all throughout high school, and before that, had played basketball since I could walk.
Not only did I play sports, but you could not get me to stop talking about them. My dad raised me as a Chicago Bears fan, and it didn't take long for me to fall in love with the team. My elementary school classes had to hear all about Jay Cutler's latest drives, or how Matt Forte was going to be in the HOF one day.
My time spent playing volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse shaped me into the person I am today by teaching me teamwork, mental toughness, and persistence.
The love for the sport of football spread into various other sports. It wasn't about just watching a game or following a team, what meant the most to me was the connections and conversations that came from it. Once I found out that I could turn this into a career, I was all in.
Now, my sixth grade self is smiling as she gets to watch her dreams come true!

I have worked within the sports scene in many different capacities- marketing, PR, media- and while I've learned a lot, what's stuck with me the most is how important it is for me to make a career out of what I love.
